The Red Sea

The Fire Goby's scientific name is Nemateleotris magnifica.
Despite the name, it's not a true goby but is closely related to dartfish.
They can dart into rock crevices at incredible speed when startled.
Fire Gobies often hover above the reef facing into the current to catch plankton drifting by.
They usually form monogamous pairs in the wild.
